Future Classroom Ideas: Vision for the Future
Picture this… There are no hard seats, cramped desks, and mobs of disrespectful peers to navigate. Instead, it is a place of educational warmth that facilitates great education and fosters joy in learning. These photos are meant to convey TPA’s ideas for a future facility where the students feel a strong sense of community and are empowered to reach their limitless potential. TPA’s 21st Century way to educate grades 6-12 will be a place of beauty, comfort, and the feeling of limitless opportunity.
Although TPA right now is awesome in the Appelbaum Home, the vision for the future is here, it is always good to know future plans. Come with us on our journey to the future TPA.
Imagine TPA on a brand new wonderful campus in the heart of Sugar Land, Texas.
When you enter the school, you instantly feel that this is the NEW 21st Century way to educate grades 6-12. It’s a place of both beauty and comfort. There are no hard seats, cramped desks, and mobs of disrespectful peers to navigate. Instead, it is a place of educational warmth that facilitates great education and fosters joy in learning.
There are floor to ceiling windows to let in natural light. The colors throughout the school are rich and warm and make it feel like a comfortable dream school.
Students sit in a quiet, casual internet café style setting on comfortable, cozy furniture while they are doing their school work on their laptops in a quiet atmosphere with calming classical music in the background. They gather together in an executive style boardroom to hold student meetings and to conduct student public speaking classes.
There is a gym furnished with free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines with a personal trainer to meet each student’s individual needs. There is an incredible art studio and science lab all with the latest equipment. There is a homey café kitchen with a microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator for students to have snacks and lunch together like a large family. There is a cozy tea corner that serves warm, comforting, healthy organic teas from around the world.
And best of all, TPA continues to provide the personal touch with only ten students per teacher ratios, so that students can all have an academic advantage as they work on their own personalized curriculum at their own pace.
There are great evening optional classes for PSAT test taking, teen public speaking classes open to the general public, and student summer camps. Art classes, current technology updates, college planning are all potential topics open to the general community.
TPA plans to grow with the tides of change to meet the needs of teens to have them become emerging leaders of positive change for a better tomorrow.
